Life according to me, lesson 33

When in doubt between making money or enjoying it, always choose to enjoy; have fun while making a living, embrace the process of living your life…money is certainly needed but not necessary.

  1. OJ---You are right on the mark. If one chooses money, one will find one's self old and worn out and joyless, but with a decent bank account. What was the journey like? What friends, what joyous occasions are remembered? Who was reached out to along the way?

Choose joy. Money cannot comfort you or make you laugh. Friends and loved ones can...

  3. Although when you don't have money and you're struggling, you do realise that if you had it, you would have more choices.

  4. I agree with you totally. Some of the best times in my life were lived in material poverty but in priceless joy.

Glad you're back again. I've missed you.

  6. Money comes and money goes. I don't need it to be happy, but I do have more fun when it's around ;)

  7. I am reminded of the quote If you can find a job you enjoy you will never have to work a day in your life.

  8. I am beyond in agreement. I plan to post something specifically about money one of these days, and I'll save my personal definition of money for that. Bottom line: it's overrated!!!
