Never underestimate the influence of negative vibes and bad attitude from other people. Treat them like you would treat the flu: stop it at the first symptom, enhance your immune system and if it gets you, let it flow...acting strong does not always help our vulnerable human heart.
A multicultural, non pretentious view of the things learned so far and daily events, sometimes anonymous, that mark our path...only if we dare to have a fresh start. ///Una vista multicultural y sin pretenciones de las cosas aprendidas hasta ahora y de los eventos cotidianos, a veces anonimos, que marcan el camino...solo si nos atrevemos a empezar de cero.

or spray them with lysol and they will run away holding their eyes screaming...err....yes, i agree...acting strong is not a good thing..smiles.
ReplyDeleteYes! I like to let it flow around me, not to fight it.
ReplyDeleteExcellent advice!
easier to say than do for me. Negativity in general, is one thing - I can smell it a mile away and I do a great job of disinfecting, but when the negativity is directed AT ME, I wallow in it. I obsess over it. My mind knows I have no control over other peoples thoughts but my heart is sucked into it. WHY??? and tell me how to heal!
ReplyDeleteor, I'll just pour another glass of wine. :)
so incredibly true & wise!

What you say is so true. It's so hard to combat negativity sometimes. I'm learning though. And the negativity I most fear is the one that sometimes comes from me. I can be my worse enemy.
ReplyDeleteI love these lessons you teach us. So wise.
Absolutely true!
ReplyDeleteHello! First of all, thanks for stopping by The Marmelade Gypsy and commenting on my posts. I have been looking for that Argentinian wine you mentioned -- can't find it at my regular store, but am going to try World Market next time I'm close!
ReplyDeleteI've been reading lots of your posts and beautiful writing, but I had to comment on this one because I couldn't agree more -- and I'm printing this out and putting it on my door!
